My name is Tia McDonald, though I’m also known has Ms. Sunni. I’m from the vibrant Mondawmin community in West Baltimore. My journey has been filled with challenges, growth, and achievements. I found solace and passion in embracing Mother Nature’s bounties during these rapid changes. Urban gardening, a discovery I made in the heart of District 7 – Zip Code 16 & 17 has become a powerful outlet for healthier living and community engagement.
Learning to garden with Sunni’s Harvest will inspire and provide tools and resources for you to incorporate eco friendly and sustainable living practices as an individual, family, and community projects. We will teach you how to support the efforts of a vibrant ecosystem and innovate accessibility to healthy cultural foods as well as offer greenspace and online community network of urban gardeners, growers, and supporters.
